just wanted to post about my time in the US real quick. i flew in on the 14th and fortunately didn't have much trouble getting my car and everything. So i went straight to the hotel and took a shower and everything. after that i went over to sam's house and we were driving around and getting some food at taco bell.
the next day we went shopping (bath & body works is going to be the end of me, seriously! i got a really cute sheep for free! baby sheep!! i named it sheppy. lol. i'm gonna take a picture soon and post it on here. caroline was trying to cconvince me that i should get zac to sign it, haha.
caroline made this awesome birthday card for him and i totally should take pictures... *nods*
the drive from charlotte, NC to providence, RI was CRAZY! it was like 824 miles and we left right after the jack's mannequin show. which was awesome by the way. unfortunately we missed treaty of paris since we were looking for the venue and didn't find it at first even though it was right next to burger king where we'd parked the car, lol. anyway, eric hutchinson was alright.
and andrew was awesome. so was his band. they played holiday from real, i'm ready, bruised and dark blue... and lots of new songs. i bought the new cd and it was definitely worth going even though sam and i should have left a lot earlier. due to us not leaving until 11.30pm, we didn't make it in time for the walk. i had to stop around 4am because i was too tired to keep driving and then there was this huge traffic jam before washington. so we went off the highway and went to ihop to get some breakfast. i had those really delicious chocolate chip pancakes.
i freshened up a little and washed my hair (in the bathroom of ihop, mind you, haha.) and then we continued driving up to rhode island. the crazy thing is that we drove through no less than 8 states in just one day, haha. north carolina, virginia, maryland, delaware, new york, new jersey, connecticut and rhode island.
we got here at 6pm, i called caroline and she came downstairs to help us carry our stuff upstairs. the hilton's... well, most people here seem to be really stuck up, of course, haha. but we met this nice guy last night after the show when we bought some candy and he said that he's a spice girls fan and could totally relate to our hanson fandom, lol. ;)
anyway, we had a good time last night. caro and i were both convinced that the show was going to suck, but fortunately they proved us wrong. zac was all smiles and i'm really glad about that since caro said he seemed to be sad earlier.
the show was pretty good. nothing out of the ordinary except for dancing in the wind. that was kinda random and taylor playing the guitar was kinda hot to watch. :P
the venue was pretty awesome and even though i thought that hanson made have some difficulty getting the fans to respond, they didn't. of course not. haha.
zac was smiling a lot, taylor looked as hot and beautiful as ever. the curfew kinda sucked, but 20 songs are fine i guess. ;) they probably cut the setlists of the opening acts short. we didn't even get to see everybody else. dave barnes was okay. we shall see them tomorrow. ;)
alright. i have to go now and get ready so i guess i'll finish this post or rather post another one later this week. :)
have a good time, y'all. <3
